Winter Olympics Broadcast Animations

Jelena Sinik worked with the creative team at Nine Network on animated interstitials and graphics for the Australian television broadcast of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games (Milano Cortina).

 

The team comprised Dan Snitzer, Gary Yeung and Nicolette Axiak, and Jelena contributed character and environment design for 2D Animation. This included designing, illustrating and texturing the scenes as well as creating 2D characters for animation.

 

The small team worked collaboratively to produce animated stings that were televised to accompany the Winter Olympics coverage on Channel 9 and 9Now.

 

No AI was used in the making of these works.
