90 years of Sydney Harbour Bridge

Jelena was commissioned by Ample Projects, under the artistic direction of Nicholas Tory, to work on a 15 minute animated projection & light show on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Jelena worked closely with the team to create several animated sequences for projection on the North & South pylons of the bridge.

Her contributions include surface water, underwater and sky elemental animation in the form of 2D frame-by-frame organic animation. Additional work included the animation of the LED lights across the middle of the bridge, to mimic the motion of water.

The projection ran for 4 nights from March 17-20, 2022 alongside other celebrations created by Transport NSW.

The show was designed with the purpose of "highlighting what the bridge represents, a unifying presence linking Gadigal and Cammeraygal lands, beneath our sky and above our harbour, a city-defining piece of infrastructure."
