In the flesh

In The Flesh is a silicone stop motion animation created in 2015 as part of a Master of Animation course.

This film is a 30 second excerpt of a proposed design for a web series for young people. The design explores surrealism, the grotesque and themes surrounding the genre of contemporary westerns.

The film brings to the fore ideas concerning evolution and human nature; featuring handmade teeth, eyes, silicone models of fleshlings, uniquely ornate sets and a 15 second claymation opening title for the series.
